Worrying won’t change anything jan never has it will just make ya feel worse. Hans will be home soon getting under your feet again and all this will be just another of life’s hiccups to be stored in ya memory so you can drag it up to beat hans with if he gets out of line by telling him how hard it was for you sorting it all out and it’s all his fault. Lol.😜😎 I’m sure he appreciates all you do for him and would be there for you if the need arose which hopefully it won’t as men are useless at multitasking 🤪🤷‍♂️😂😂😂😂

I don't worry for me really, I worry for him because he just hates being separated from us.
I think this time he is coping much better that he ever has before, maybe thats because I told him if he comes home too early I´ll bugger orf on holiday with Motley on our own, mind you I´d probably only be round the corner within shouting distance.

He keeps saying he is sorry, but why should he be, it´s not his fault, he couldn´t have prevented it. Once he is mended inside he will make a good recovery and we can start living again.

Oh dear Jan, you don’t need any more hassle. - Make a cuppa and put your feet up for an hour if you can.

He´s not coming home today after all, the doctor wants to make sure he can manage to go without the catheter.

Work work, chop chop, now to make him chicken salad for his lunch, slice some cheddar and defrost bread otherwise he will dwindle away not eating the rubbish they serve up.
Why do they never add a bit of salt to hospital food, I took him some yesterday and he thought I had brought him gold dust.

That’ll be why he disappeared into the garage, gone looking for some windscreen washer tubing - that’ll do the trick if he gets caught in need 😎

I really won't be able to relax about that until there's no sign of red, which in his case could be another 10 weeks, but might only be 4, it's unknown.

All seems to be going well, only 3 times up last night instead of 4.
It´s still pretty gory, but he had been warned.
He dare not leave the house, coz as Dave knows, when you've gotta go, you've gotta go.
The brain is not still, he is in the worship right now making a guard for a chain saw, if he doesn't do something he'll go barmy.
I must admit every time he `goes` I am listening very carefully to the flow.
He stands in the shower with a big yogurt pot (then it goes in the usual place) in case of any splashing which could be easily cleaned up  [fingers-crossed-smiley-emoticon]So far so good after one accident `at´ the loo.

Patience and time I'm afraid , hopefully work out in the end. Get him involved in the baking instead of the workshop[whistling-smiley-emoticon].

OI , I resemble that last phrase . I'm a man , I'm answering you , AND drinking a cup of coffee , is that not multitasking?[strong-no-smiley-emoticon]
I can also do many things whilst avoiding Isabel, multitasking again.
John

As the prosecution would say "once again I put it to you that typing and drinking coffee require two skills , therefore men can multitask"[sarcastic-laugh-smiley-emoticon].
The reason I don't multitask often is, Isabel reckons the more I do , the more she expects. Unfortunately 999 times out of 1000 she gets her way , keeps my life easier.

Here we go again.
Took Hans to yet another hospital yesterday, the place he started from in Schwedt, an hour away.
Friday morning he felt so good, all clear. We took Motley to the vet, nothing serious, went to one of our day trip places and after lunch he didn't feel well.
6am yesterday, sick, 8am bleeding, still the same at 11.30 so off to Schwedt in the Navajo. He was seen immediately, piped up and taken to a 3 bed ward, terrible for someone with hearing aids, asked if they had a single room, luckily they had, cost us, but it's worth it for him.
Expect he will be there for a few days.

When I left him at 7pm the doctor had just hooked him up to some red stuff, he had 2 lots yesterday and will have 2 more today.

I'm sorry to hear that, Milly, sounds like he might have picked up an infection. Poor old boy, he needs an end to all these complications now.

You are both in my thoughts, and I'm wishing him well.
