He is in the ambulance on the way to hospital 35 mins away.

At 7 am this morning he started burning and loosing blood, at 8.15 I rang the urologist, he would make a house call after surgery at 3 pm.
The pain got worse, so I rang the emergency, they were here by 9 o'clock 2 young ladies and 1 man.
Then the emergency doctors came 2 young ladies and 1 man all 6 in the bedroom. He's been given a pain killing injection.
They are taking him to Eberswalde about 35 mins away, If they can´t cope he will be taken to the hospital that did the operation, but the doctor thinks he has a blockage again which means drain it off and the pain should subside.

Yesterday he was so pleased with himself.

Oh dear, I hope they get him pain free quickly Jan, maybe he overdid it in the garage.

So sorry to hear that Jan. You two don't have much luck do you.

You did the right thing, once they get him to hospital he's in the best place.

The biggest worry is his blood disorder, its called Thrombopenie in English I think its Thrombocytopenia, along with his blood thinner for his heart he bleeds very easily.
The ambulance people took temperature 37 blood pressure 199/120 I think thats an itsey bitsey too high  :o  ???  usually he is around 140/70.
Then one of the girls took an armful of blood and left some on the sheet, good job I have a substantial mattress cover or our expensive mattress would have been a mess.
I just have to be patient now and wait for him to call to tell me what's going on. Maybe he will stay there maybe they will take him back to Berlin or maybe he can come home, but with the bleeding I am expecting him to stay in for at least a day.

Oh bugger, Milly, I'm so sorry to hear this. I was so pleased to read yesterday that Hans had been pottering in the workshop.

It's all such a worry for you, you must be on tenterhooks all the time wondering what else can go wrong.

I expect they'll scan him to see what's going on. I would hope they'll keep him in for a while, these journeys aren't a good idea straight after surgery, let things stabilise first. They're always too keen to chuck people out these days as they are desperate for the beds.

He is out of pain thank goodness. The doctor was correct, he had a blockage, they sent a Dynorod specialist in to unblock the pipe and left a catheter in there.
Nothing other than that is wrong he says, nothing to do with pottering in the garage yesterday.
He will be staying in for observation, I don't know how long, request for me to make something for him to eat and take tomorrow, he probably won't eat the food in this hospital unless its greatly improved from the last time. I don't know how long he will stay there so I'm on holiday agen with just Motley as company.

Isn't it strange, usually it doesn't take a lot to make me cry, but at the moment I'm not.

4-legged therapy. I rely upon it all the time.

As Pete said Jan, - Hans is in the right place for now. We are all thinking of you both.

Geoff is correct......a bit of four legged therapy is good. - Give Motley a big cuddle! 🐶

We went for a walk along the Oder Damm earlier, met a bloke on roller blades who asked "does he bite"  I should have replied "not at the moment he's not hungry"  I will say that to the next person who asks.

Off to take him a few things, he will be staying in for a few days probably, until the urine runs clear.
He is not happy about the care he's not getting.

I'm back.

He's not terribly unhappy really, well he is, being away from home is the worst thing for him.
He now has a landline phone, the mobile says Number barred every time you try to ring any number so I must contact Lidlmobile to find out wosup.

Good to hear you have been to see him, Milly. I hope you bore tasty gifts for his delectation. I presume he got a hug too. That would be worth being poorly for, I'm sure![blushing]

well akshirley when I went to give him a hug he shouted at me [eek] I was leaning on the tube and it was pulling on his you know what. [forehead-slap-smiley-emoticon]

I took him quiche, potato salad, bread already buttered and cheddar cheese.
While I was there they brought his lunch, potato soup with Würstchen (a tasteless sausage)
yogurt and a cake in a packet that I bet is also tasteless.

I'm not sure what I will do tomorrow. Motley came with me today, we had a walk in the woods at the Zoo before I parked outside the hospital in a place not really for visitors, but only left him for an hour.
Tomorrow I may take the Navajo, park by the Zoo and walk through the woods to the hospital, it´s not far, but the forecast says wind & rain [frown], don't want to get soaking wet.

Hopefully after a day or two to allow things to settle down he can be back with you full time and walking Motley when you need him to. 🤞

I have just been speaking to him, he sounds quite cheery, he has 2 new room mates, the ones he had went home while I was there this morning.
One of the new ones comes from our next town.
He's been having a verbal fight with the nurses because they were not giving him his right tablets, not until they found the list he took with him with the rest of his papers did they give in and give him the right ones.  That sort of thing amuses him.  I told him there was a list in his toilet bag, that pleased him even more.

Forgot to tell you, yesterday his mobile didn't work so I left him mine, he does have a proper hospital phone now as well.  Anyway up, I checked his account on the internet, it was -5.25€
checked all the details and discovered the problem, the bank account used to top up the sim we closed last month [frown] it was so long ago I set it up I had forgotten I used a different account to my phone.  So now I have to get a prepaid ticket, recharge the sim to unblock it before I can change the bank details on his account. I need all of this stuff right now, not [mad]

I'd be inclined to treat it as a diversion from recent events Jan
