I am not having a lot of luck and can't remember what I have told you.
I have been here 12 days 10 of those almost immobile because it seems after trying to help out by cutting the grass I managed to trap the sciatic nerve, was sent to the specialist to make sure it was not my replacement hip joint had not dislodged and the x-ray proved all OK. MRT booked for Thursday this week to see just what is happening. After my first treatment with the Chiropractor the next day I felt so much better, but after the second treatment back to square one with pain and stiffness in leg and back. I see him again tomorrow when he wi!l probably change tactics. He is a super chap, I fully trust him as he treated me with great success 17 years ago.
After being here for 10 days I am discussing with the family if it would be best for me to move to this area, in a place where lots of English is spoken and I am a lot nearer to civilisation, France, the Ferry etc.
I'm getting annoyed with Google it won't sign me into my account until I put the number in they send and that in bed arrives on my phone half an hour later.

Not too far from Hanover a place called Warmeloh where they have 50 horses, many in livery if that’s how you say it, people pay money to have there hoses here.
We met the family in 2003 and have visited each year since. Except last year.

I know a few of you see facts and as it's been impossible to copy and paste posts to each forum unfortunately you've not all seen what I have posted. The phone is a pain for me to use being used to the big computer.
Strange thing I feel I slight improvement tonight, it might be I feel much better in the morning, I do hope I am soon Back to normal, it is very tiring and poor little Mot says it's not the holiday I promised him 😥.

As I was just walking back from the house where I had been watching TV with Christel my phone said bibib, text from Google with the number they promised over an hour ago, hopefully I will now stay logged in to my youtube videos.

Thanks for your good wishes, once the nerve has been in clamped I'll be up and walking with Motley again.

I have had that nerve prob from a motor snash many years back, takes time to sort or ease, then some times cramp sets in,do try quinine tabs, one at night, only miss a few between if any cramps, heavy pain killers only work for a short time, cycling is helping me.
Hope you get well soon.

2 more sessions this week and the MRT.
So far today no improvement and I feel so tired all the time.
My inner ear is also causing trouble when I first lie down making me dizzy for a few seconds.
I think I might have to be put down 🤨 😫.

I hope very much so Alan, do you know the buddy grass has dared to grow again, someone else can do it not me , NEVER again.
Christel broke here hand last year and it was not treated by the medics properly it healed wrong so she couldn’t use it and was always in pain. She had 10 sessions with Wolfgang, now no pain and she can use the hand again.

I did a bit of finger wagging this morning and told the bone cracker he had better get me better this week because next week I have no driver, he said he´d better give me Marijuana to smoke as grass had caused the trouble maybe we should try grass to get rid of it.[biggrin]

So far it seems a little better, at least I can stand up without pulling a face and a sharp intake of breath, but this has happened once before so I won´t get too excited.

I have been to look from the outside at some flats that are to rent in the next village, there are a lot of farms here that have a flat or two to rent, if I rent a small flat to see if I really will be happy here then I can then look for something bigger later to move out of my house altogether. I keep telling myself I must think of my age and there are a lot more people close at hand here in the west than in my place in the east and of course my worry over Motley will be solved.

MRT done, tomorrow I will maybe know what is wrong, I have the CD for Wolfgang to look at plus pictures, the actual report from the hospital will take a few days, not sure if Wolfgang is fully able interpret the scan. I am not in as much pain, but it’s still not comfortable, I can’t walk far and I feel tired. Nothing else done about the flat hunt today it’s been a busy day.

Today I had the MRT result explained to me, looks as if I will be here for a while yet.

Since 1989 the bottom of my spine has been pretty bad, but it has now become a disaster,  2 discs have fused together, another is out of line with the rest and here is where the swelling is that´s causing me so much pain.  I am ordered not to lift, carry, push or pull anything and to rest.  When I said to the family I was so sorry this happened while I was here the answer was "It´s a good thing you are because otherwise you would have been alone had it happened at home".
Motley won´t go for a walk with anyone else without being put on a lead, hopefully that will change when he realizes I can´t take him, however he is happy to wander about the stables if he finds another dog to play with.

Time, rest, don’t do anything silly like carrying etc. alternative medicine tablets from pineapple extract to reduce swelling, I hope they work.

There is an operation that involves pinning. but it’s not recommended, there is a risk of becoming disabled with that I know. Once this swelling has reduced I will be hopefully back to my normal self when I don’t normally do anything that might upset my back. Unfortunately pressing down on hard peddles was not on my list of what not to do.

Stay away from a back operation Jan. I think I have a problem, but after speaking to the surgeon who operated on my new hip last November, I have decided to struggle on. - He doesn’t ‘do’ backs....only knees and hips.....but said if I wanted it, he would refer me to a friend. - He then said.......don’t have surgery though! 😳
