This takes me back to 1971, this was on dial a disc (remember that) I stood in a phone box all night listening to it when I first moved to Yorkshire, I arrived in the middle of the night and had nowhere else to go until the morning I had only one coin, for some reason the call didn't end at the end of the song, so I let it play continuously.

When they first came out I probably liked those, but I wouldn't even consider putting them on my iTunes now.
I am choosy with the old stuff, my music taste has changed as I get older, what I enjoyed 30 years ago I don't necessarily like today.

Never even heard of dial a disc, what did it cost?

Yes I know what you mean, and of course, the opposite is equally true, I like stuff now I didn't back then such as Van Morrison, the Doors, and loads of other stuff, but I mostly like anything from the 60/70s less so the 80s, but I'm quite eclectic in my tastes, I like a lot of classical but can never remember the titles.

Just enjoying this, nev3er was a fan in my youth.

I loved the 70s. Beatles, Tamla Motown, Hollies and then ABBA. That Agnetha could have had me if she'd played her cards right.[tongue][biggrin]

It’s impossible to have a favourite as there’re so many to choose from

Special memories of Hawkwind at Exeter university. Genesis was a support act. It was the night we were chased around the car park by the police 😇

I can watch and listen to Mark Knopfler all day. And Chris Rea is my favourite in the car.

I like "Evansence"
and this type of music.. My brother in law the singer in our bands back in the late 60's through to the early 80's and who runs Karaoke stuff, brought out this CD when we stayed with them a few months back, I had to sit there and listen to different tracks, basically a lot of what we used to do as covers, Gawd they bored me to death, so I put on "Evansence", "Disturbed"
and a few more from youtube, I think he realised he was 50 years out of date!.
