Definitely those Ryanair.
You know, we have opened the entrances to everyone, personally I would have made some exceptions for the subjects of BoJo but it is not me who can decide [biggrin]

Max, somehow the word NEVER made it to the post.

Well I tried and failed with my van change this week. The speedo is difficult to see what the needle is showing as the dial is buried and dark on my Ducato based mh. I got a set of 'boy racer' white dials after seeing a post on FB from someone who had done the same thing. Got the dials stripped the instrument cluster but failed to get the needle hubs off to replace the dials. It seems as though mine are glued on. So looks like I will have to rely on the sat nag for my speed. Full blog post with photos https://mhtrips.com/2020/06/white-dials/

I'd the same problem. I've ordered a https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cikuso-Universal-Speedometer-Odometer-Speeding/dp/B07QK6CS4Q/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=Cikuso+universal+hud&qid=1592823317&sr=8-5
Apparently it works OK without using it as a HUD - I was worried the HUD display wouldn't be sufficiently visible in bright sunshine.

Hasn't arrived yet so can't comment.

isn't there a software mod to help the lights show up better? It does seem to be a problem for a lot of people

I am not aware of one if you do please let me have info.

I am LHD and have the fancy chrome rings on everything (standard not aftermarket). The speedo being on the left is buried in a dark area of the dash and even with the lights on the area between 70kmh and 120kmh is virtually invisible made worse by being on an A class.

you just need to contact your dealer, as far as I am aware The software update switches on your dash lighting permanently.

We have always found our instrument panel difficult to read in bright sunshine Colin. I mentioned it to our Dealer and told him it was a problem on the Continent. He said he gets lots of complaints about it. I have since seen the same comments on-line. - We have to rely on the sat-nag.
