As the actress said to the Bishop  " never seen one like that before"
Is there a way you can send picture to supplying dealer?
Hope you get someone who knows soon.

Beats me. Can you do a pic with something we can compare its size to? It’s a bit black and lacking in contrast.

I do know it’s not one of those things you use to get a Boy Scout out of a Girl Guide 😉

50 p that's far to much for a night out , that's why there are 20 p pieces.

A gas lighter wot sparks.

A bottle opener you can then put on top of the bottle to keep the fizz in.

Something to put in a guessing game.

I give up, what is it?

Can’t help you as such airob, but as a guess I think Jan might be ‘on track’ that is is something to do with the kitchen area, which is why it is in the cutlery drawer.

I have also just Googled your van. - It is a nice vehicle! I am sure you will have lots of fun with it. Do you have any holidays planned?

I think a few more pictures of different angles might help.

Where in the U.K. are you based? Members here are well scattered, both in the U.K. and abroad, so there is a wide range of advice with trips.

Well that hasn’t helped, I was hoping for something a bit more obvious, like a label or instructions...... I’m stumped! Does it appear as though it pushes onto a pin through the end, and then push down onto something?

You are gong to have to find out what it is and let us know.

The first picture needs to be taken again from above, maybe we can see some shape to it.
The second picture looks like a bracket. [scratching-head-smiley-emoticon]

And, to, as well, also, it would be very nice to know a bit more about the owner of this strange object.

Blimey, you joined in April last year and only 6 posts so far, I didn't join `til July last year and look how many posts I've made. Makes you think I do nothing else all day `cept talk on here.

I think it's part of the mechanics of something, maybe the drawer you found it in, check the mech in other drawers.

Could the slot fit over something like a small valve to give extra leverage?

As it was found in a drawer might it be half of a safety catch to stop the drawer flying open when cornering?

The moulding has similar styling to this:

Must have missed that Kev. I think Ernie Jan, you and I have all been thinking along the same lines. - If it was found in the kitchen drawer, it probably has something to do with the kitchen....or the drawer!
