After the recent irrespective posts by Czarina and Angelsson I would like to make my support for Ross known.

The site is run and managed in a professional manner that is not overbearing or cluttered with rules for this and that.

We all have free reign to let our mischievous sides loose without chastisement. And we do.

If there are problems with the site Ross gets it cleared up as soon as possible. For the benefit of us all.

So as far as the two afore mentioned Muppets are concerned. Forget them.

The site is great. Nice one Ross you are doing a good job.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to think this way. Motorhomeowners onwards and upwards.[thumb][thumb][thumb]

Wot he said above.

Mind your head as you go through the door Ross.

Only jesting, take a bow and award yourself one of those cardboard medals. 😀

Well I've just read some of Angelson's comments and I really think he has a point - there is not enough discussion of really serious stuff on this site. There, I've said it! So just to make the site more appealing to our quondam (and highly educated) member - he went to Merton College, Oxford you know (oh, I am so impressed, though he didn't tell us whether he matriculated or not), may I suggest that we all now restrict ourselves to discussing serious matters, such as:

-How to avoid being gassed in your motorhome (and how to maximise your insurance claim when you are)

- Why can't I use an A-frame to tow my car in Spain just because it's illegal there?

-Can I use red diesel in my motorhome if I re-classify it as an agricultural vehicle (well it is rather slow)?

-Why does Johnny Foreigner drive on the wrong side of the road (and why do I need to bother when I go there)?

Unfortunately I can't think of any more serious subjects - coz unlike Angelson I didn't attend Merton - so I'll leave it to the more clever members of this forum to add their own suggestions. [biggrin]

Why do we British need headlight beam deflectors to drive in mainland Europe when no Europeans use them when they come and drive here?

If the Russell Group continue as they are, will Saga eventually sell motorhomers 'live traffic feed' podcasts for an extra fee, hoping to further align knowledge with wealth?

I demand answers or else I will remove myself and then come back.

Oh my those questions are so serious I will forward them
to our mep in sprouts to see if he can raise them as questions
in their next sitting (or might be a laying down meeting if they been
down the pub). Only one I think has changed is the red diesel cant
be used in boats any more either. Mind if I had a friend who has been
to Oxford university I could probably answered them all . still simon or
kev might know.
