Thanks for all your help, have it solved🙂. Checked the D+ signal and all as it should. Then went to check at the relay beside the door and behind the heater were the buzzer is. When I took out the relay and started the engine the buzzer sounded but steps wouldn't work. The replaced the relay and the step worked. Turned engine of and put out the step the turned on the engine and nothing so I reached behind the heater and played with the connectors to the relay and step worked. So a lose connection at door relay, typically the one hardest to get at. On holiday atm so when home I will try to unscrew it and tighten the connectors.

We could have done with his expertise when we had the Tracker.  Too late now it’s gone.  Not got a step on my van but could do with side steps.
