Wasn't sure where to put this as it is relevant to loads of countries...

Most, if not all insurers will probably supply you with an English version of the European Accident Statement which could help in the unfortunate event of an accident abroad.

It might also help if you also have a few handy in the language of the countries you are travelling through. Available in several languages to print off....

What an excellent programme. Thank you. Hope I never have to use it.

Update:
Have just printed the pdf's for France/Netherlands/Germany. Each pdf gives 2 sheets for accident reports. One in English, the other in the host country's language. Both are the same for input. Excellent provision that could overcome a difficult situation.

That's a good one, Pete.

Like Ross, I hope never to use it.

From the title, I thought it was one of those joke ones, like the joke insurance statements, " the tree wasn't there last time I came through here officer"

Good post though.

Thanks Pete, I had to use one in France [bawl], fortunately the other driver had a copy and spoke good English so it was an easy process and accepted by my insurance company as original notes. I have printed off various versions for Europe and like everyone else I hope they gather dust, unused in the back of the cupboard...
