We are toying with taking our Bessacarr 454 to Salcombe later in the summer. We will be staying on a friend's drive so don't need a site, but getting there is a worry. There is a particularly tricky bit of road to negotiate and I'm wondering if this has been done by other MH owners successfully. The bit in question is just outside North Sands - it's a hairpin bend as you head towards South Sands. It looks like it should be OK, but I would not want to get stuck!

Anyone familiar with that bit of road who could advise would be much appreciated!
TIA..

Chris

I’ve seen how you drive 😂.

I haven’t been down there in a MH, quite a few times though when we used to go fishing with the car. The roads can be a bit narrow, but take care and don’t let the car drivers bully you.

Remember to chose your time of day to arrive Chris. - Early morning....or late evening. We always find if we are going somewhere ‘tight’ it helps to be doing it when there is less traffic on the road. 😆

Last week we went out in our car to Ringstead Bay in Dorset. The approach road is quite quite narrow but 20 years ago I used to tow my caravan there and think nothing of it. The same the week before when I went to Frogham in the New Forest. The roads certainly appear to be getting narrower to me.
