Anyone used the Sygic dash cam on the phone sat nav app? Any good?

Another one to look at is CamOnRoad this does SatNav, dashcam in one and also has VR type display for your route too if you want it.

It sounds a bit 'eggs in one basket' to me. I prefer to keep each thing separate, so that if something packs up I only lose one item. Plus I have back-up units, apart from reversing cam.

My dash/screen probably looks untidy to some peoples' eyes, but I don't care. When I stop, I just unmount the phone and satnav holders.

I have used Sygic for many years, sat nav is very reliable. The dash cam works very well although my phone overheated when using both together for 2 hours. I still use Sygic sat nav but use a separate MiVue dash cam.

I have also used the Autoguard dash cam app. that worked well on the phone.

That’s a good point. I had my iPhone switch itself off one time when I left it on the dash because it got too hot.
