Not recommended between April and September, their holiday season. Camps now closed, only maintenance people and fishermen about. Super quiet night.

Oh no they're not, that's how I got here and that's what it says on where am I.

Yesterday started off well, went from Poland into Germany at Gölitz, the furthest East city in Germany, then the Navi had a funny turn and put us on the wrong road to enter Czechia, so map out and then we still couldn't find the road we wanted. Came over the mountains to Frydlant fantastic views, but not able to take piccis. Then the fun started, couldn't find anywhere to stop, rested at a tank station, cooked a shop pizza we bough earlier, which was supposed to be top for pizza, but we both thought rubbish even though I had put loads more cheese on. Found this place on park4night. Leaving after we've drunk our coffee.

We are lucky having 2 languages Kev, we can mostly find someone who speaks one of the other. It's a beautiful country, we have been here every year for 6-7 years.

I'm afraid what you put in your sat nav, is not what you typed in the post Jan, or Google would have picked up the location, but at the risk of repeating myself [wink] [wink] you put a space in, and " at the end, I removed the " and it still didn't work so I looked closer and saw the space, then it worked.

See the quote I did of the post to see the space, now - inserted in the space & highlighted " in RED

We arrived Dobra Voda at about 6pm.
Joined our host and hostess for wine and nibbles, the children were very happy with their presents, a kite each.
Tomorrow we will have 5 alpaka as neighbours.
Drove through beautiful countryside today.

Sounds great Jan, the joys of motorhoming, just glad you are both well enough to have these adventures.
Speaking the language is a great help, I would be lost without Caz in Germany, could you and Hans offer German lessons, that would be a nice little earner.

She came back indoors laughing, saying she had been spat at, but at been quick enough to only get it on her coat.....not in her face!

These are well brought up Alpakas Lin, so far I haven't seen them spit and there are a good few people who have been this morning to take photos.
I have just taken a video of them all crowded together
Asking to go in because it's time for the goats and they are kicking up a shindy. Thomas has just unleashed the 2 big goats and all 4 have gone in on they're own.
The Alpakas don't go in just yet.
You'll see it all on the video when I get home.

Our friends ones were probably ‘yobs’ Jan 🙄. I know someone who was spat at in a zoo as well, so I think they are renowned for it!

I have a great video of OH delivering a kid goat. Our neighbour kept goats, but she has sadly died since of cancer at the age of 54. Her husband has kept her goats, including the one named after OH!

The video is a little too graphic to post on here, but OH has not forgotten the experience. We had helped our friend on numerous occasions previously, but as she was havimg chemo at the time of this birth, she was not allowed to participate in the delivery of the kid. Her husband was busy delivering a calf at a nearby farm.....so we stepped in to help!

And they say life in the countryside is boring!
