Hello everyone my name is Martin and as my ID says I'm a newbie. So new in fact, I haven't taken delivery of the MH yet. Just sorting out all the piddling stuff, such as insurance, road tax and where the hell we're going to park it. Lol
Bought the MH with my partner Carolyn and as she's from Barnsley that's where we are looking to keep it though the three sites we've spoken to so far are all full. We'll find somewhere, though it may not be on the doorstep.
We weren't really looking at buying a MH, especially one this size, but saw the advert and it just seemed right so went to look and low and behold bought it. So as you can imagine we've still to get to grips with owning it and sort ourselves out. The first thing I've been advised to do is fill it up with diesel and water and take it to a weigh station to see where I am with regards plated weight limit. So I'll get on with that and let you all know how it goes.

Hi Martin, welcome to MHO, it a nice looking van you have, I'd have had a look at it for us but it's too long for our drive.

Morning and welcome.

Good idea on weighing it with full liquids and you 2 in it. Lets you know how much beer/wine you can carry [biggrin]

If you are new to all of this, ask any questions you have as there is a load of experience on here.

Welcome from me as well Malcolm and Carolyn. You have just bought yourselves a new lifestyle.....so enjoy it as soon as you can. Sylvia has said it all above......we are all desperate to get away in ours again. 😁 In these ‘pandemic times’ it must be the safest way to travel. I am sure you will love your new van.

Now you’ve set a challenge that needs to be met. We now need pictures of the bike(s) and of Leo. 😂

Yorkshire terrier, bears too.

You need a new username now, you have posted enough to lose that moniker.

I don't think Monica suits him. More of a Daphne, I think.
