I’ve got someone who has paid a depsit so far on my Kawasaki with a view to collect on Sunday

I have asked for payment by BACS so no messing around with cheques or cash or promises etc.

How secure is it? I’ve paid by it but never been paid, and it’s alot of money. So I’m just a bit uncertain, am I worrying needlessly?

Paying before collection I assume.
Don't they have bankers draughts anymore, that was always favourite when we were there.

Be interested in the answer to this one as well Simon.

Not sure, but once you've checked the funds are in your bank via BACS that's it isn't it?

I cant see how the transaction could be reversible (?).

I assume there will be a bill of sale of something to say you have sold it to him, the bankers draught details would be added to that.

How come you're selling the big Kwak Simon ?
Is there going to be a replacement.

I've sold a number of vehicles and taken payment via BACS without issue, I think peejay is right once it shows in your account it's done and dusted.

I’ve done barely 100 miles on it since its MOT in July. I’m not going to venture abroad again on it, so why have £10k tied up doing nothing? I have to accept I’m getting older and less able to just up and go where and when I want like I used to.

However I’ll keep the Busa as it’s 20 years old in March and is now a classic lol. And as it’s a 99 it’s also unrestricted and is potentially still good for over 190.

Perhaps I’ll go classic sprinting? 😈

Feedback I’ve had elsewhere says I’ve nothing to fear about doing the bank transfer lark 🤞

Makes sense to sell if you are not using it.

I commute on mine so they get used regularly, will also take the MT10 with us behind the MH

And yes the Busa is worth more as a keeper, awesome bike
