East Anglia is certainly 'big sky country'. I was born and bred in Suffolk myself, so I was used to only being able to see as far as the first line of trees.

I have visited since I've had the van and there are some lovely places up there, but I prefer the West Country scenery now.

I've enjoyed seeing your photos, Pete, thank you for posting them.

The pictures reminded me of another life when we hired a boat for a week on the broads and when we collected it, had 10 mins driving lesson and where things were instructions then the lady said  "I´m sorry I don´t have any bins they are all out" stupid here says "that's all right we can use a cardboard box"  She of course meant binoculars.
