Looks like it may be going into administration, will be a shame as we have one nearby.

It's a shame when another business goes under, although I have never used Go Outdoors so can't comment on if I thought they were good or not.

They have a scheme where you have to buy a £5 annual card that entitles you to all the discounts. We used to visit quite regularly before CV19 and got some good stuff, mainly clothing from them so we'll miss them if they do go under.

That’ll be a shame as, although I don’t go there often, I use them for cheap trainer style walking shoes

I always resented having to pay a fiver just to be able to access their better prices...especially when Mountain Warehouse were as competitive or better and sold just as good quality stuff.

Always a shame to see businesses going bust though and especially the impact on those who worked there.

JD Sports (the owners who put them into administration have bought them back. They buy the assets but not the debts. Sounds like a business fiddle to me. The poor buggers they owed money to presumably get nothing.

Yes I've only been in JD sports once and walked straight out, hugely expensive prices for cheaply made mass produced rubbish was my verdict.
