Been away paddling the last few days so out of contact....in the wilds of Scotland sans internet and phone, bliss.

Spoke to garage last week (Thursday) and along with input from Fiat Technical they were trying to diagnose the problem.

Had a message on answer phone from garage, Friday, saying initial query re warranty fix was rejected. However this is I understand just a first step form filled in by garage. They are going to submit a "business case " to Fiat to further pursue warranty option.

I need to speak to them tomorrow to find out if they have yet managed to diagnose fault (without that I'd expect it hard to make a specific case) and also whether its worth me submitting a "personal case" to try and tweek Fiat from a moral standpoint as well as putting my arguement that they should stand behind their stuff etc etc.

But as I say without a specific problem identified further useful steps would be limited at this stage.

Will keep this updated as it developes

Has your contact been with the actual dealer who sold you the MH or just the garage it has been dropped off at? Just saying your dealings for any warranty should be through the people you bought it from

I would agree with Simon on this, the dealer might have more clout with fiat if they were to get involved.

Currently in discussion with Fiat regarding contribution. Problem diagnosed as the hydraulic pump that takes the place of the clutch peddle.
