I thought you were here for the summer Dave? Are you glad to be heading back to Bulgaria? Keep us up to date with your journey back across Europe.

Well had a nice buts always a long drive back to Bulgaria, we stayed at dover parked on marine parade first night, second at Frankfurt, third at Passau, and fourth at Arad in Romania, final day was a long one 900 km in 12 hours, but with the end in sight couldn't stop.

Top tip, in Germany fuel was cheaper in the evening than the morning by upto 15 cents a ltr. That was at both the fuel stops I used....

Anyway couple months here at home then off to Greece for 5 months.

Can't wait.. Best

Thanks for the up-date Dave. - Good info about the fuel. You certainly made good time driving home.

We shall all wait with great expectation for your Greek reports again. Simon is doing well with his daily updates with his trip to France at the moment. For all of us stuck in the U.K. it is a way we can enjoy your travels with you!

Glad you made it home Dave and San. Bet your work is cut out for you in the garden.
Greece for winter? Would love to. But we are staying here until New Year. Not sure when we will set off. It will probably depend on how depressed I get with grey skies and rain. We want to pick up our trip from Crete onwards But may travel slowly down to Sardinia in Corsica and across Italy to Patras. But plans often change ...

Hi Katherine, yes, garden a mess when we got back, have cleared front and back but the orchard will be left, grass is so thick my brush cutter won't do it,

We will be back to peleponnese around mid October this year for about 5 months, would be nice to catch up maybe next year.

Have a good trip down whichever way you travel.

Best to you both, and the dogs x

Just drove past the Calais terminal, all looked quiet, hardly any ques.
Hope the ferry port is the same.
Just parked up at the motorhome parking at the large Carrefore shopping centre.
Having a spot of lunch before we head to the P&O Terminal

Home safe and sound now, but what a crap journey, sea was a bit rough, then the M20 was closed at J9, some one had knocked over the diversion signs so we got lost did a big circle that took 1 1/2 hours then started again, decided not to trust diversion again so went to Canterbury and picked up the M2.

Still had a great first trip in our Motorhome [smile]

Now off to go and look at a new motorcycle that I can put on the back on the Hydratrail
