There isn't a category for this so have to put my question here.

They have Toll charges for Motorways,  it says on t´internet toll for over 3.5 T
As the Navajo is 3.5 t do we pay toll or not.
Anyone know please?

Looks like you pay a fee if it is under 3.5t depending on length of stay, and a toll if it is over, not the best info I've seen, how much is the toll, not that it matters as you are not over, but I suppose it would depend on the actual vehicles weight if over 3.5t

It looks very straightforward to me. If you are plated as 3.5 tonnes and therefore your gross weight is UNDER you have to get a vignette for 10 days, monthly or annual - similar to Austria/Switzerland, and if you're plated as 3.85 or over then you get yourself a TOLL box similar to Austria

Your Navajo plated at 3.5 t means it mustn't weigh heavier than that , in normal running condition it's likely to be 3.3 or 3.4 fully loaded. If you stick it on a weighbridge and it's 3.51 t then you're illegal, and then you either leave something out or consider replating to a heavier weight e.g. 3.85t

Thats a bit Irish, it says over 3.5 tons you need a vignette not under.

Anyway we´re off, we may decide not to use their motorways anyway.

No it doesn't. Read it again

It says a toll is payable for vehicles gvw over 3.5t. Your plate of 3.5t means you are under the limit.

Nothing is free in this life any more. One feels one has to just pay up and shut up
or go without. [shocked-eyes-smiley-emoticon]

I need to make a public apology to you Simon. I understood in the end and forgot to tell you [sad-face].
I should have learnt by now to take notice of my superiors    [blushing]
