Loading the kayaks today I forgot the skylight was open. As I pushed the rack in there was a strange noise.....too late, it had broken the perspex hood off the hinges. Everything seems OK so just need the perspex hood. Checking online looks like it's going to cost me the guts of £220. It's a dometic skylight. I guess since its motor home item it's expensive.

Does anyone know of a good place to source them?

Thanks in advance.

I'm now beating the wife in the damage to van stakes. I lead 2:1.

What size is it, also look at complete ones, might work out cheaper.

Thanks Pudsey. It's 700x 500mm. I'll look at complete units also.

Finally got replacement hood from here. At the time mine was £170 delivered . Seems shipping gone up a bit now.

Bit fiddly to change out but no big deal.

A painful experience to the wallet, but thankfully you sorted it.
