Hi There,
I have an Elddis Autoquest 175 (2013 Model) can anyone tell me where I can get access to the fresh water tank, for cleaning purposes. Think I've looked everywhere and read everything but still can't find it.

There's possibly a large screw on "cap" on the bottom of the tank however trying to clean through that would be awkward \ difficult.
The normal method of cleaning is by a solution poured in through the fresh water filling point.
Be aware you need to be careful on what cleaning product is used as some, including Miltons (the baby stuff) can be corrosive on stainless steel.
Puriclean is the product we use.
Others will suggest \ propose alternatives.

I’ve been using Milton for 22 years and never had a problem, cant say we’re ya tank is normally inboard but could be underneath the van with the waste tank.
By the way welcome to the gang 👍

Where is your tank? On mine it’s under the travel seat and there is a large screw on cap at the top for access. I’d be careful what you use to clean out the system. Does it actually need it doing? We’ve had our MH from near nearly new for over 8 years now and we don’t have any “taste” to make me want to have to delve inside. My first option if I really did want to do something would be to fill, empty, fill, empty a couple of times to wash anything through.

Let us know how you get on.

If you haven’t had the van long then I would be inclined to clean it out just in case. Whatever you decide to use once it’s been in the tank pump it through ya taps and the shower pipe work let it run down the plug holes into the waste tank so it flushes that out as well.👍
