Latest version of Archie's European Campsite is available on his site:
http://www.archiescampings.eu/

In his brief release notes he states that there are many additions and modifications especially with regards to South and Middle England.

To whom it may interest.
The new version of the Archiecampings European camping database is online.
See http://www.archiescampings.eu/
At the moment the opening dates are those known pre-covid.

C&MC Certified Locations and C&CC Certified Sites have to be downloaded as separate categories.

Thank goodness you. Not used this one before as we usually wild camp. Planning our route towards the border and see it covers Turkey, so just downloading the app now.

Glad to know that it may be useful.
I have been using the Archie's database since at least 2007.

I find it quite precise and accurate.
Advantages: Includes phone numbers of campsites and (when known) the opening dates.
Now to be verified because of lockdowns.

As I said, I have been using Archie's database since a while.
Loaded on my satnav (either TomTom or Garmin).
I find it very accurate, obviously it also depends on the feedbak it receives.

The only precaution is during winter journeys.
I usually contact the campsites that interest me on my route and ask out if they are really open.
The dates Archie reports may sometimes not be updated.

If the database includes the C&MC and C&CC "certified" sites as separate files, it is due to my request.[smile]
At first he told me it would have been a time consuming job but since then he introduced them in the latest releases.
A sign that he listens to suggestions coming from users.
