...almost to the day we got out in the MoHo.

We took it into Carmarthen for fuel and then on to a small place called Llansteffan: beach and castle...and a chippy that was open (although we took a picnic).

No rain and a nice run out for the MoHo.

Lovely.

Well done Graham. Glad to hear you managed a day out. 😁

I see from your photos that you managed to park down in front of the houses. It used to be possibly to park overnight in the car park as you enter the village, (I think Pete stayed there once), but I understand it has been stopped now. Any chance you up-date us on that?

Hi Lin

As you get to the seafront there is a car park right in front of you with public toilets (that are currently closed). It looks like an overflow carpark. Just at the entrance to this car park if you follow the road to the right it takes you down to the car park we parked in. This has public toilets that are currently open.

I wasn't looking for signage however I didn't see any either that stood out, regarding MH's and parking/overnighting. Had there been visible signs I'm pretty sure I would have seen them and commented. In fact I didn't see any signage regarding any parking restrictions or otherwise for any vehicles.

Both car parks were free btw without height restrictions or barriers.

Graham

Thanks Graham. That is how I remember it down there. I think vans used to park in the first car park but there was a fuss about it. We didn’t stay when we visited a couple of years ago.

We always overnight in Kidwelly when down that way. When we were last in Laugharne we saw a couple of vans which had been parked up overnight. We spoke to a chap who lived in one of the houses overlooking the estuary and he sad there were often vans there for a night or two. It is SO pretty all along that coast.
