I’m disappointed, last year while I was walking through a cornfield I picked off a head of corn and planted a half dozen corns in one of Sue’s plant boxes.

they have grown, thankfully she didn’t weed them out, and frankly I’d forgotten all about them, but I see that 2 of the 5 have broken heads.

I was rather hoping to harvest them all and perhaps bake a loaf or have them in my muesli.  D39C10BB-3071-4F7C-9492-FC37AEA08100.jpeg

Better of waiting till the farmer starts harvesting then grab a few bagfuls of ears take em home build a windmill with French grinding stones, then use the flour for ya bread. On the other hand just nip into the supermarket and buy a loaf Simon, hope this helps. 😎🤣🤣

I agree 100%, with either Blueberries or a Banana and a cup of Earl Grey. We also have Pease Brose and Buttermilk i.e. when we can source a supply of Pease Meal.
