I've been on 3 for several years as the plan I use is good for me

Unlimited texts, 200 minutes, unlimited data, 4gb of tethering, all costs just £17

Recently I've been getting a little close to my talking minutes and I wondered what else they could offer.

I can up the talking time from 200 to 600 minutes without changing anything else, it first of all seems to be from £17 to £20

Yep, that's fine by me, I'll do it.

And so I press the next button to change to the 600 minute rate and, low and behold the price changes to £22

Oh dear, red rag to a bull. I've fired off a complaint to 3 and let's see what argument they can come up with

More later.....

tesco do a rocket pack that we use payg monthly that you can up and down as you like

£5  =  100min with texts and a little data
£7.50 = 250 min as above but more
£10.00 = 500 unlimited texts and i think 3gb data

 they even go higher

we have been on it for a while and no probs abroad with calls or data but data is limited to a couple of months

worth a look but you need the payg rocket pack for the best deal

When I read the thread title, Simon, I though you were going to talk about 3 cheeky blighters but instead I'm disappointed to see that you're only talking about 1.

Where are the other two? [surprise%20(12)]

Yes I should have expressed the title clearer 👅

Witz, are you telling us you're Billy no mates, send me your number and I'll call you now and again 😉

Barry, I'm well happy with my 3 contract, especially the fact it's unlimited data as I use 8-15gb a month just on the phone alone. I think they've got the ad slightly wrong as to go from 200 mins to 600 mins for a fiver is reasonable, but I'd like to hear their excuse 🤔

Vodafone had a great offer at the beginning of May for a limited time, but you had to make it a new account. My update with Voda was due but they would not let me have that offer. I had to fight to get 8Gb for around £14. Loyalty is not honoured with these companies.
