Hi fellow MoHomers.
I am thinking of replacing my TV with a larger one, if I can fit one in. So I may have this for sale-

It is a Cello (UK made apparently) 24 inch LCD TV with built in DVD palyer. It has regular Freeview tuner and also a Freesat tuner (just add a dish). Max resolution 1330x768 (so is it 720p?), with 2 glass bases and remote.

Has USB, HDMI, VGA inputs. 12v operation, 240v-12v psu and ciggie lighter plug lead. 100x100 VESA mount holes on back, which is what I use for the wall mount (not included).

Mint condition, less than 20 hours from new.  I use it mostly on the PC. Still have original box and docs. Had it about 3 years IIRC.
The similar one now available new from Cello is pretty much the same item, and sells for about £154 discounted. Looking for around £90. I can't post unless you know of a carrier who will adequately insure it ?o collection from Crewe, Cheshire, is best. May be able to take it to Manchester if that is helpful? I will try to get some pics and put them on here later.

I think it is as good as an Avtex, which are way overpriced I think! Bargain!!
If you send a text, I will get back to you, if the fone is not on.
Dave  077 34 135 282 or via PM on here please. Cheers!

Update- don't think a 32 will go in! Unless I move suff around , so I will borrow a 32 from home at the weekend and see oif I can get a neat install. Meanwhile, if interested, le me know just in case. BTW, it is FULL HD. Thats 1080, not 720. It's badged Cello, but the box has it as Enox! All the same, apparently.

We had a cello in the van a while back, but the sound quality was awful, i complained but despite having 3 separate updates via usb it was still rubbish, i got a refund after a lot of hassle.

This not to say Jacks is the same, jusy something to be aware of.

Yes, sound might be an issue for some. Small tv, budget, ergo, not gonna be hifi. It does suit me being a bit more trebly than some, as I worked in noisy environment for forty odd years, and I note that modern cinema style sound I find I can't always hear dialogue properly.
I might be hanging on to it for a while as I am not sure a 32 will go without moving the wall mount, which will involve plugging holes that will be visible. This weekend I'll see wots wot.

Nickoff- I got your message but not replaced it yet, as above, and will be using it for the next 3 weeks, so if u like I can let u know. If it seems I can get a bigger one in, then no probs, I will order one but it won't arrive until after I go away!

hi all

the main thing to be aware of with modern flat screen tv's is that the speakers are mounted at the bottom and normally face backwards or downwards if it is a little thicker

this is why they push sound bars so much

easy way to overcome  is to add extra small speakers that plug into speaker socket and they should sound better anyway

i sometimes watch the tv in bed and the wife complained as the speakers in  the tv face out the back and she could hear the sound louder than i could

Better late than never,,  here 's an update! I did eventually get a larger, 32'' tv in. I went with Cello again, the 32 is way lighter than the 24, for the same features, and seems to be not quite as well made as the smaller one- seems a bit more plasticky (which it mostly is I guess), sound seems a tad better, pic quality is excellent. It has some niggles; the program guide will only stay on screen for a max of 30 seconds if no selection or navigation takes place, I don't think the freeview tuner looks too hard for all the channels, like the old one did, and the static on the surround from the tacky protective tape doesn't half attract the dust, hopefully this will wear off. Not tried freesat yet as no dish, but it gets 4 out of five for now, and I consider it well bought at 239.99. I would buy again, if the need arose. So, that means the little un is for sale now, still as per the previous posts as it has been boxed up until a month ago, when t was last checked that it was OK. Might be able to post, but I insist on full insurance if doing this.

Yours for 90:00 plus post/insurance at your risk if you wish to do so.

I also have some more caravan/MoHo stuff for sale, that I was going to bundle out as a starter kit, maybe on ebay, but will put on here first.  Things I can remember are-

Caravan cover (may suit moho) 14-17 ft. , Streetwize, silver, UV protected, new in box, never been taken out or used as sold the caravan. These retail c.120.00, take 70:00 for it.

Lockloy alu caravan leveller, wind up type that goes under lowest wheel, as new, in case, drill adaptor for winding plus maintenance kit, Milenco one is c.100.00 (can't find my exact one, Milenco one is very similar). Take 50:00 for it.

Milenco towing mirors, still in case, unused, convex glass, very large, IIRC they are Grand Aero's, retail c.60.00. Take 40:00 for them.

Wireless reversing/rear view camera and monitor, used in my caravan, with excellent results, still has box and docs, IIRC c.70 quid from camper UK, still has receipt but out of warranty some time ago, mint condition. To you, sir, 30:00!

Plus a portable satellite tv system in case, plenty about, Aldi and Lidl etc. usually sell them, hardly used as the tv has tuner built in, best considered as a freebie if you buy the lot, perhaps.  I can email pics of all items, may sell as a job lot prefer collection from Crewe, Cheshire, may be able to deliver for fuel costs up to 50 miles, might be in North wales from 26 July, if helpful?   Pls emeil me at           dr.zoidberg@consultant.com       for enquiries. Cheers!
